The badge of an old Murphy #radio from the days when people listened to “the wireless”. They were once a common sight in houses across #Ireland in 1950s,60s & 70s. This one belongs to my Dad. It hasn’t worked in 40 years or more. One day I’ll get it restored.

John Deere #tractor power. A 1990 3650 model with a six cylinder engine. When released in the late 80s this tractor was very revolutionary and futuristic looking with a round front to the cap for extra visibility and a superb gearbox which still performs well today.

The heart of an Aga #cooker. Never thought I’d be posting a photo of a cooker but there you go. This is where the kerosene oil is burned. This Aga is an old model which used to burn coal but was converted to oil. They are great cookers but horribly inefficient.
